The name Welna Woningservice
Welna Woningservice is the brainchild of two successful temporary social housing experts: Ebeek and Ed's Interior Design. The name comes from the fact that the company was founded on Welnastraat in Amsterdam's Amstelkwartier district.
A house and a farm stood on the same site as early as 1710. The farm was soon named Welna. This country estate, far from what was then Amsterdam, continued to exist until the early 20th century.
