De Slufter is a senior complex in the Buikslotermeerbuurt in Amsterdam-North. It comprises one building block with 66 senior apartments, which are currently being improved and made more sustainable on behalf of housing corporation Stadgenoot. An additional elevator is also being installed, and a separate storage area is being added with enough charging stations for a substantial fleet of mobility scooters.

The work started in March and is being carried out by Coen Hagedoorn Bouw. Approximately 15 guest apartments were deliberately created in the Slufter building, allowing temporary residents to retain their familiar surroundings. Welna furnished and upholstered these apartments, installed lighting and blinds, and placed all household appliances, plus TV and Wi-Fi.

We carried this out from the heart, and the residents of De Slufter deserve it too.
